Check out our new paper on death in animated films! Check out @enrica_b_ thread below. It amazing it was the get to work with her! She combined her interest in media with our work on children's understanding of death, and designed some cool studies. All as an undergrad!
Excited to share that my first paper ever is now available online! authors.elsevier.com/a/1d7Yq39HO4GD…. Clicking on this link will give you free access to the whole paper until July 14th. Now for some highlights!
Check out our #SRCD21 poster about how children's early fractions knowledge lays the foundation for their later math achievement! With @ypark246 @EdNeuroLab & Percival Matthews. I'll be on chat and Zoom today at 3:15pm ET! #SRCD2021 #SRCD
Excellent dissertation defense talk by @ypark246 this morning! Congratulations, YP :)
We're recruiting our final participants for the BioViz study and are hoping to finish this semester. We are specifically looking for children in grades 1, 2, 3, 6, and 7! Evening and weekend appointments are available. If eligible, please email us at [email protected]!
Our lab has a new online study for children in Grades 1-7! Students will work with an experimenter to answer questions about genetic inheritance. Interested? Email us at [email protected] today!
Many families outside of university communities are curious about what child development research is. So, we developed this video to explain the process. Check it out and share with your friends and families! More info on studies in our lab coming soon!
Myself and several other awesome researchers have designed this study in an effort to better understand how kids learn algebra! If you know any 6th-8th graders in the US who are interested in participating (virtual study!) feel free to send this gorgeous infographic their way ☺️
I have a new pre-print with Karl Rosengren and his awesome lab at @UofR Back in April we asked parents to tell us about the conversations they have with their children about the COVID-19 pandemic. We were interested in their child's questions and how parents responded 1/x
