When it comes to systems design, what writing (books, articles) have you found to be the best for introducing the topic to designers and researchers? And what’s missing?

I'd like to see more caveats in user research. There are always limitations in the studies we run due to time, budget, or the method choice. It's risky to give teams too much confidence in our findings, and apply them inappropriately.
