Happy to see that Intuitive Design is Amazon's #1 Best Seller in UX and Usability. Yes, it's that good! See what you are missing (and help me keep it there) by buying your own copy. intuitiveuidesign.com #iuibook #ui #ux #uxdesign

Turns out, the Eagles really are better than the Eagles.

I'm constantly impressed by how certain default behaviors in Office apps (Word, Excel, OneNote) are never right...ever...for decades.

Congratulations to Apple for creating the only commercial on YouTube in 2024 that I don't want to skip.

Just realized that I have at least $18m worth of duct tape and bananas.

UX Designers: Please replace all "Please answer these three secret questions" screens with "Here's our tech support number, please call them now." In doing so, you will remove an unnecessary extra step.

Is there any research that demonstrates that people know the answers to their own secret questions?

I'm looking for a polished css template library and am seriously considering TailwindUI. Good call? (I'm using a library that isn't React or Next in case that matters.)

Turns out, there's no such thing as an electric wench.

I have finally decided: Firebase has failed me for the last time today. Switching within the week. Recommendations? #buildinpublic

Excited about my upcoming "How I learned to stop worrying and love NPS" at Quant UX Con next Wednesday. Will be fun...and it's time to innovate! quantuxcon.org

Thrilled to announce that I will be presenting "How I learned to stop worrying and love NPS" at #QuantUXCon next Wednesday. Will be fun! Hope to see you there. quantuxcon.org

I'm thrilled to announce that I will be giving 3(!) workshops at the AHFE conference in Nice France on July 22-23. The topics address heuristic evaluations, making data-informed decisions with limited time, and the elements of great design. ahfe.org/program.html See you there!

Planning on switching from Cyclic to Railway.app unless somebody talks me out of it. #buildinpublic

I think google should develop an AI system for the express purpose of explaining their dev docs and error messages.

"There is no 'average UX' for your product. In the U.S., the average shoe size for men is 8¾. Who do you know that wears an 8¾? Nobody." Just looked it up. The average men's size in US is 10.5. Mine is 10.5. Perhaps the problem is poor research, not from drawing conclusions.

Does you have challenges with doing design reviews? (If you answered no, I don’t believe you!) Design reviews aren’t a natural skill, but the problems are easily solved once we understand them. Join me for my #UXPA Effective Design Reviews workshop on June 24, and let’s fix this!
