Whoa! 5 yrs has passed? Still Ubuntu! Client: Switched from Ubuntu to a fork (MATE). Could NOT get used to Unity. Server: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
Just installed FatRat! Nice piece of software: download manager/torrent! Woot.... :)
2 days trying w/out success. 2 vid cards nVidia can't run together using nVidia proprietary drivers. Dual works, without 3D cube! NO FUN! :(
Using Lucid Lynx! Excellent Upgrade from Karmic Koala. I am able to run VM! WHOOT, WHOOT!!! Not successful in using dual monitors 2x nVidia.
System has not rebooted since the last post! Ubuntu still running strong without issues...... Merry Christmas 2009 and Happy New Year 2010!
Before doing any upgrades. I had no probs with JJ, I just got caught up in the PAZAZZ of KK! When LL comes out I will upgrade to KK! :)
KK is nice, but without support for the apps that I need, KK bcomes useless! JJ is good No issues with JJ! Sitin out until Lucid Lynx 10.4.
Reverted back to Juanty Jacklope (9.04). Karmic Koala's (9.10) kernel does not currently support VMWare 1.0.x - I do not like 2.0.x. Wating!
Installed Server 9.10 (Karmic Koala) on TestBox. LIKE IT! Will test B 4 upgrading. Upgrade = New install. Boot time is less than 15 seconds!
Upgrade client to 9.10 (Karmic Koala) from (9.04 - Jaunty Jakalope) - easy and went smoothly! Best Ubuntu so far. Excellent Ubuntu TEAM! A+

Windows 7 tested, nice, but not as nice as Ubuntu! I wonder Y Microsoft hasn't incorporated virtual desktop? Mac OS X has... Windows 9!? ;)
I just installed XP in VM in Ubuntu. There were a few hickups, sound wasn't working, that has been resolved! Need Windows for work :(
Just did a clean install of Jaunty Jackalope (9.04). Clean as one would expect from Ubuntu! Excellent job Ubuntu team! Wainting for 9.10!
