The original "university" was created by Plato, to study the "logos", and to study the "frontier" of human thought. In modern times, universities are businesses. They revolve around money, not learning. Degrees have become meaningless pieces of paper for the most part.
If you assume 'Simulation Theory' is true, then, consider "base reality". Do citizens of "base reality" also wonder if they are in a simulation? The point is, there can be no known "base reality". Therefore, 'Sim Theory' is meaningless and illogical. Imo.
The solution to any 12 steps program isn't belief in a "higher power", it's belief in yourself. It's just hard for people to accept. And that's why surrender is key. Just stop fighting with yourself and everyone else and you'll be okay.

I think a lot of people are waiting for "the other shoe to drop". And if it doesn't come, they'll drop it themselves. It's a learning lesson.
