As part of the Child Online Protection program launched by the @ITU in June, @KristyGyonjyan initiated an interactive session at the Anatole France French Educational Complex, focusing on online safety and media literacy. Around 60 pupils aged 9-11 participated in the session.
According to the @ITU's report on #digital development facts and figures in 2024, there were 189 million more male than female #Internet users globally. Fortunately, the gender parity #index has improved from 0.90 in 2019 to 0.94 in 2024, unlike in #LDCs — from 0.74 to 0.70.
