One last book detective question for you all... Does a picture book that has the line "Captain Caster keeps going faster" ring any bells? Probably published about 30 years ago. Not Captain Najork, but definitely pirate adjacent

Book detectives! More mysteries afoot... Can anyone remember an 80's/90's picture book about a naughty/spoiled little girl (possibly named Caroline) with the refrain "sweet little (name), lovely little (name)..." Said "Caroline" is allowed to stay up late & eat luxurious cakes.

There is a lot of goodness in the new Headland but this by Chris Price really did crack my synapses “The best natural glitter has always been waterborne. Sea swimming does it every time, a little cannon goes off inside and I am bathed in sparkle”headland.org.nz/issues/issue-1…

Thanks for setting this up. Will be tuning in!

Next Tuesday (Aug 24) in a free online event, join @zarahbm in conversation with @hollen_666 on her fiction debut, Nostalgia Has Ruined My Life – 'a grimly funny rendering of the absurdity of life in the 2020s' (@BplusPNews_). Register here: crowdcast.io/e/zarah-butche…

So since NZ Poetry Day is not a happening thing I’m thinking it might be a good time to bring back Twitter Poetry Night. What reckon @ashleigh_young @HeraLindsayBird ?
