Friday: Ryzen 9000 pre-launch launch strategy propagated by youtubers. Monday: Intel selects same youtubers to cover next gen product launch.
Intel has completely priced AMD's 7000 series CPUs out of the rational market. Despite this, as long as Intel continues to sample and sponsor marketers that are mostly funded by AMD, they will struggle to win market share. cpu.userbenchmark.com/Intel-Core-i5-…
Cool setup.
The Force is strong with this one.
Big shout out to @AMD. Stoked to get on board the upcoming Zen4 7600X express with @tomshardware @nbc_net @VideoCardz @wccftech @HotHardware and thousands of reddit and twitter masters.
Happy Good Friday @AMD @LisaSu. Just spent a while cleaning up abusive comments and emails from your “fans”.
It’s understandable that users are largely oblivious to the fact that the majority of branded social media discussions/interactions are orchestrated by marketers, but, corporations that don’t actively counter disinformation might as well not bother with R&D either.
Reams of solid data in this review. Would a 5GHz OC (+16% all core boost) on the $190 USD 9600K beat the entire 5000 series with a 3090 in the 1080p max gaming tests? We are patiently waiting in line for retail units ...
And the effective speed difference is: cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-…
Did some quick Excel work and here's the 1080p gaming performance of the Ryzen 9 5950X compared to the i9-10900K from a few different media outlets.
Kudos to @LisaSu for sharing gaming benchmarks today: 3900XT v 5900X +25.7%, 10900K v 5900X +6.8%. Therefore 3900XT v 10900K +18.9%. @AMD’s official figures put @Intel 4.9% further ahead than our effective speed does! A recalibration dedicated to our AMD "fans" seems reasonable.
Influencers are just doing thier jobs... Real users understand.
people still not understanding that userbenchmark shows gaming performance and their ranking matches actual FPS benchmarks pretty much 100% lol
Welcome to the future.
The era in which hardware reviewers were worried about things that matter in the real-world for *everyone* instead of focusing on Cinebench & company. Time travel to Tom’s or Anand in 2010 and marvel (then, cry). #SiliconGang tomshardware.com/reviews/2d-win…
