My heart is full and I am truly excited to begin. Thank you, Ruiru, for being my home. And thank you to everyone who stands with us on this journey of giving.
People who may not be able to work. People who carry heavy burdens quietly. People who deserve dignity and support. Now, as we approach the end of November, we are preparing to launch this year’s Food Bag Project.
That is when I saw the need. And that is how the #FoodBagProject came to life. Since 2021, we have been able to distribute food to more than 100 families. This includes families within the #disabled, #marginalized and #vulnerable communities.
A few years ago, as we approached November, I noticed something. Many entrepreneurs begin to slow down and sign out for the festive season. In that quiet period, I asked myself.... “How can I use these two months to make a real difference?”
I have lived in Ruiru for more than 20 years. There were seasons when I was away, but every time I returned, I felt one thing deeply: 💝I want to give back to the community that raised me.💝 That desire is what birthed The VB Foundation
Becoming a mom 10 years ago was the greatest gift and calling of my life. I feel incredibly blessed. Because parenthood has a way of softening you, grounding you, and expanding your heart in ways you never imagined
