Providing high quality training in #videolaryngoscopy is a priority on our course - VL using Macintosh + Hyperangulated blades as well as documentation of the procedure using the #VCIscore @VCIproject
A strong editorial in support of universal videolaryngoscopy by @doctimcook and @DrMikeAziz accompanying @audreydejongMD’s recent publication in the @BJAJournals. The bottom line: ‘Is VL more effective than DL?’ Yes. ‘Is VL safer than DL?’ Almost certainly yes.
We have a DAS survey coming out soon looking at what and how people are recording as it’s all a bit unclear - be great if as many as poss could fill it in to get a clearer picture🤔 @R_S_Chaggar @VCIproject @dasairway
