I can’t figure out exactly how destroying DEI will lower your grocery prices but I’m still working at it.
Instead of focusing on reducing the costs of groceries & improving the lives of our constituents we got an ill-conceived memo that’s causing chaos across the country and a warning the majority wants to raise taxes on working Americans to pay for more tax cuts for billionaires. 🤷♀️
So the DOGE bros are bragging today that they got "DEI scholarships for Burma" canceled. These are USAID's Lincoln Scholarships, which help young people struggling for freedom in Burma's dictatorship - a cause America has supported under Republican & Democratic presidents. 1/

It’s scary, confusing and dangerous that folks don’t know whether programs they depend on will exist tomorrow. This isn’t a game. Already we’re seeing impacts on Medicaid ⬇️ I frankly don’t know what Trump will come for next. But I do know I will not give up the fight.
