Coding something for someone is the worst idea ever. Now you're pretty much responsible for maintaining that code, expanding and troubleshooting. Pair programming is a better idea. Then you already have two people who can do all those things.
Why does making API requests from components feel so dirty when using Redux? It would be so much easier, and if the API request result is only for that component, why not?
