Well, nearly home now but that's my last event of this season wrapped up with an eventful 1-3 xd. Had a hell of a laugh playing with a team I cooked up myself for a change however I couldn't actualise the ladder success I've been having with it. Will do a longer post later.
Exciting times ahead! I've pulled the trigger on a project I've been debating for a little while. Keep an eye out for things to come, but next VGC season just got a whole lot more exciting!
Today has been a dramatic adventure in getting to Sweden. With heathrow shut down, we've had to get the last seats on the plane from Manchester. But, beer in hand we're in an airport and waiting for a plane.
I spent the last two days going back to an old game so I could soft reset for 0iv's ready for Stockholm next weekend, and in prepping the checker Mon, I have been reminded damn we have getting comp teams together so good compared to what we used to go through.
Had a real mare this GC. Thought I'd try something new play style wise, and well, now I know it's not my thing, ended approx 19-16 if I remember rightly. #IMissMyTurtle
Spent the day down Warhammer world for the store anniversary, been a cracking day out, spent far too much money and even got to try on some larp gear! Now to decide which one becomes the new profile photo, suggestions are accepted.
Finished 5-3 yesterday at euic. Objectively a good result but a little disappointed after last year's performance. Still, some things are out of my control I guess and locks PTS in for the race. The dreams not dead yet but it's fiscally irresponsible to keep it on life support.
Onwards to EUIC! A lovely excuse to go by rail too. Am I ready? Physically the team is locked in and all the admin is in order, so technically yes Mentally, absolutely not, had some good local runs but a hectic working week means I've had no time to think Pokémon Glhf!
