When it comes to dilapidations “a prevention is better than a cure”. Interim dilapidations are an aid to all parties and can lead to reduced lease end liabilities and more importantly avoid costly disputes be it financial or time.
2021 is here, let’s make the most of it. Look after each other, stay home, stay together and stay safe. Vantage has a lot happening in 2021 including new staff, new website, new branding and all our key services maintaining a steady stream of work. Happy new year everyone.

As we near the end of our last full week in the office it’s great to see two of our projects finished up this week. The internal refurbishment of the Bounds Building and the external refurbishment of the Smithfield Building. Both completed on time and looking fantastic.
With a couple of our projects due to end before Christmas we are excited to have the refurbishment project for the arcade at the Hive confirmed. We're improving the space for tenants and reletting.
Christmas has arrived in our Manchester office in the form of our first company TikTok!!🎶 We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas after a long and difficult year for us all!! 🎅🏼🎄 It’s a good job our property expertise is better than our TikTok transitions!!📱🏢
We have a lot going on here at Vantage, we’re getting ready to have a re-brand for the new year with some fresh new talent in our team, new ideas and a strong drive!
Although we are extremely busy with a variety of ongoing projects and surveys we still make time for our staff training. This past week we have been looking at health and safety, one of our Manchester based surveyors Aaron Gordon has just renewed his CSCS card scoring 98%.
Our team have been down in London this week looking at various job including the old Royal Mint building where they had the chance to view the mediaeval ruins it had been built on. Structural defects have been noted to the the ruins!
There has been some great progress made on the internal refurbishment of Manchester's Bounds Building including the installation of the moss wall to the entrance lobby ready for the stainless steel signage to be installed later this week. We think it looks great!
There is a growing concern of sustainability in the property and construction sector is it time to think more seriously The RICS says “Acknowledging the climate crisis is no longer enough – we need to act”. We think it is time we all took charge of the climate change crisis!
Vantage are always one step ahead and thinking what the client may need without them asking. Recent positive use of our thermal imaging has seen us retrofit secondary glazing to properties, track water ingress through brickwork and more. All saving the clients time and money!
