Instead of making a sound, car alarms that go off at night should blast your name so everyone knows it's your car.

PSA-I’ve heard abt 3 Div 1 schools hit by this scam. They call parents in the mid of the night saying their NCAA SA child is in campus custody for alcohol/drug violation (specifics can vary.)Very convincing, w/ names, phone #’s etc. Then ask for $ for diversion program. Be aware

As a parent of 4 graduated college athletes not one of them had the experience they thought they would have but they had the experience they would need for what would come in their futures. Parents this is a must read for prospective athletes and for you, it will help you too.

10. Summer camp secret. All college programs plan their ID camps during the same 5 days. It's ok if you can only make it to a portion of a camp. We can prorate it. We want you there for the entirety, but I've had a PSA commit after attending 3 hours of a 3 day camp.

8. If you stop us at a tournament to introduce yourself, just know we can only say hello and move on. We're not trying to be rude. We're just trying to play by the rules, and make it from ct. 7 to court 188 before warm ups begin.

6. If you're at a tournament and not in the match, we watch to see what kind of teammate you are. What are you doing from the bench to help your team win? Cheering, giving information, taking stats, or sulking?

5. Don't send your "updated schedule." We spend thousand$ to know where and when you're playing.

4. Additional email information: When you send your initial email, please list pertinent info at the front (grad yr, position, GPA, height, club). We're not interested in your sour dough starter kit until the 3rd email.

3. Concerning emails. Send them 4-5 days before a tournament. We're not checking our email the night before an event. Most of the time we're traveling or having dinner with friends we haven't seen since April.
