Won a Stitch Championship with Mufasa Amber Ruby this weekend with a very similiar list. 40 players. Struggled vs discard, but was great into steel song, blue steel and grey purple.
Got 3rd and won a rockstar with a tech version of amber steel to beat the mirror. 1st in swiss and only lost top4 bc of very unfortunate draws. Strat is to discard wheel, pop flutes and overwhelm them with robin, beast, tinkerbell, surfer, cindy, chernabog.
Tearlaments In this format, Tear seems very powerful if it gets to play. Making Rulk, Baronne, Toad and Sulliek, Metanoise, Scream in the backrow and then also summoning even more while interrupting your opponent. However, lots of bricks, bad mills, Arise, Shifter, Runicks,…
Vanquish Soul Is VS good enough in the current format? The engine almost never wins on its own but the card quality is very high and you can play a lot of non-engine to carry you. I like 12 copies of Razen with a lot of Goodstuff non-engine.
Tearlament Kashtira Deck Yugioh tcg post banlist This is the best version of a Tear Kash deck I could come up with. The deck feels Tier 3 and is not competetive but it is very fun to play at locals.

Dracoslayers with Fenrir, Bystials, DRNM Main. Feels like a very strong Goodstuff deck that has answers to Tear, Flunder and does not lose to the gy hate cards. Hard loses to DRNM g1 though
Labrynth in February 2023 with the new needed Big Welcome Labrynth. Will the deck be Tier 1 ?

With the new OCG January 1st banlist, is Tear still playable as a Tier 2 deck? Salvation, Burial Goods, King of the Swamp, Tearlament Kashtira, Ishizu Millers etc. still seem good enough to get the engine going. Power Ceiling is still very high with strong fusions and double trap
