Yesterday’s elections sent a powerful message: voters believe their voices matter. Across the country, we saw strong — even record-breaking — turnout from people determined to make their vote count. That kind of engagement is something to celebrate. And it's a call to action.

In 2025, lawmakers in 16 states have pushed through 29 laws that make it harder to vote. Slashing early voting, expanding voter purges, and piling on new ID and mail ballot barriers. Every one of them chips away at all of our freedom to vote.
