Sadly @Jeremy_Hunt thinks we @WASPI_Campaign @WASPI_2018 #WaspiWomen are stupid and believe that there's any comparison between the two campaign asks are alike..#chalkandcheese Do wish they would do their homework.🤔🙄
.@Jeremy_Hunt Do not conflate #WASPI maladministration proven by @PHSOmbudsman with failed court case to revert pension age to 60. They are entirely different.
200,000 women in Wales and 4,000 in Cynon Valley have suffered an injustice. The compensation remedy in the report is insufficient and indeed insulting. We need a compensation scheme that will give fair, appropriate and fast compensation to these women. #WASPI #50swomen
I'm not a Government Minister paid thousands to weigh matters of state I'm a #WASPI woman and I read and understood the report. The @DWPgovuk got it badly wrong, they refuse to own up and they need to pay up.
The @PHSOmbudsman #WASPI report is not complicated at all. It says that #1950swomen should be compensated, and that Parliament should intervene to make a scheme happen. 2/
I'm sorry to @WASPI_Campaign campaigners in the City of Durham that I couldn't be in today's statement - I'm still recovering from surgery. My position hasn't changed, though. WASPI women, and all affected #1950sWomen everywhere - deserve justice. That must mean compensation.
Very good debate that started at 4.40 on parliament channel. Re 1950s waspi women .Grateful thanks to all the MPs who made the effort to turn up and speak so well re maladministration and compensation.Spotted Jeremy Corbyn at the back 😀
SNP Westminster group leader @StephenFlynnSNP has called on both @RishiSunak and @Keir_Starmer to commit to compensation for #WASPI #50sWomen thenational.scot/news/24207197.…
.@WASPI_Campaign Government's response to the WASPI Report is shameful. They've dragged their heels for over a decade on fair compensation. The latest findings leave no choice but to act swiftly. No more delays, these women deserve justice now. #WASPI 🐝 ⚖️ #FairCompensation
Opinion: Why the fight for Waspi pension justice is far from over unison.org.uk/news/article/2…
And it's not the complicated document @MelJStride tries to hide behind. It has a very clear conclusion that #WASPI women suffered from @DWPgovuk maladminstration which merits compensation. Parliament must agree that compensation with no delay.
The Ombudsman report on #WASPI women isn't some distant problem: it's real-life stuff affecting pensioners who’ve suffered injustice, so I asked the Minister to make sure they aren't left waiting any longer @WASPI_Campaign
#WASPI #1950sWomen "WASPI continues to campaign vociferously, being seen by many as the natural descendants of the suffragettes". #Europe is watching the #UKGovernment. euroweeklynews.com/2024/03/24/vic…
We will fight for #FairandFastCompensation @WASPI_2018 @WASPI_Campaign #WaspiWomen along with our supportive #APPG who recommended level 6 as the most appropriate which is £10k.
@WASPI_2018 @WASPI_Campaign #WaspiWomen thank all #MPs from all parties for keeping the #waspi ladies in the #governments minds today, although we have gone from "must wait for ombudsman's final report" to "there will be no undue delay in our approach" 🙄 #MPs so appreciate it👍
Thank you @HannahB4LiviMP @MartynDaySNP for representing Waspi women in your constituencies @dwp statement. #notgoingaway
So heartened by the show of support for urgent compensation 4 #Waspi women demonstrated by MPs from all parties but seriously disappointed by DWP minister saying only that he will look closely at the report, consider its contents and refusing to give any timescale. @waspi2018WD
@TanDhesi Thank you for attending and contributing to the @WASPI_Campaign debate this afternoon. Your continued support for #WASPI women is very much appreciated.
#WASPI #1950sWomen An honest article from @WhichMoney laying out the facts. @PHSO investigation took 5 years, extensive evidence reviewed and concluded maladministration. End of. which.co.uk/news/article/w…
3/ The UK Government must right this historic wrong, and go beyond the recommendations of the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman and deliver fair compensation to these women as a matter of urgency.
£1-3000? What have you learned in all these yrs? My kids (the youngest 16 att) lost their home, schools, friends, choirs, standard of living with no pocket money, no holidays & have suffered everything I have including health from poor diet and mental health from stress-4 shame!

Great to see the mellifluous Frances Neil of @WaspiSEEssex on @BBCNewsnight yesterday. @WASPI_Campaign women have suffered for far too long. I personally believe that their injustice deserve fair compensation. 1 WASPI woman dies every 13 minutes. They cannot wait any longer! ⏱️
"I have actually suffered two delays, with no notice" WASPI campaigner Frances Neil tells #newsnight she did not receive any notice to changes in the state pension age that impacted her retirement plans.
