when i love, i love: wholly, thoroughly, completely, drowning in everything. every glance can be a conversation, eyes just playing and saying what needs to be said. i want you. i want all of you.

Likewise. I agree, some pain doesn’t leave—it just settles in, like old furniture. We learn to live around it, not because it stops hurting, but because we’ve grown used to its shape. @setangkupkisah

️️ ️️ ️️ ️️ SASA, 1992. I think time doesn’t heal everything—sometimes it just teaches us how to live with the pain. It's a pleasure to meet you, Sir. ️️ ️️ ️️ㅤ

I still have hard days. Grief doesn’t vanish—but when my wife’s near, it softens. Her presence is quiet, steady. That kind of love heals more than time ever could. @balladscreen

ㅤㅤ maybe yes, maybe not. that would be.. depends on how we worked it out as the time’s passing, no? say, kind sir.. how do you deal with grief? ㅤㅤ

That’s the hardest part. Facing it means it’s real. But I agree, nothing grows in the dark unless you pull it into light. @MALLACAHT

ㅤㅤ maybe yes, maybe not. that would be.. depends on how we worked it out as the time’s passing, no? say, kind sir.. how do you deal with grief? ㅤㅤ

Time doesn’t fix it, but maybe it gives space to try. You said it’s what we choose—what did you choose, when it hurt the most? @KindofKino

Some wounds feel sacred, don’t they? Like forgetting would be betrayal. I don’t think we always want to be free of the ache. @Summerhayng

Estella, 1998 For me, it depends how “big” the grief is.. I believe time heals, because I’ve experienced that before. But there are also wounds that stay, no matter how long I wait. Or maybe… maybe it’s because a part of me doesn’t want them to heal. I guess no one really knows

That’s hauntingly true. Some wounds don’t close. But maybe getting used to the ache is its own kind of strength. @wiranataheir

ㅤ AHW, 1999. No. Time only makes us accustomed to living with the wounds left behind. Whether the wound heals or not. ㅤㅤ

Yeah. Maybe that’s all healing really is—learning to walk without flinching every time the wind hits the scar. @thephimeros

⠀ SRL, 1996. I don't think so, but you'll learn how to live with it. ⠀

That’s beautifully put. I think I’m still figuring out how to trust the ground under me again. @writtenism

Yeah, I think it does. Like a bridge, providing you the way to another point. But the self is the key part to get to that point, a complete healing.

Yeah. I spent years dodging it, thinking I was healing. Turns out I was just walking in circles. Embracing it… that’s where it shifts. @sonderflame

ᅠ Yes, but not really. Time might help but I still believe the one that play a big part is yourself. If you donʼt embrace the pain, you wonʼt go anywhere. ᅠ

I like that. Makes sense. Maybe time just gives us the space. What we do in that space—that’s what matters. @velourenvie

BV, 1997. Time doesn’t heal—it’s not a doctor. I think what truly heals us is ourselves. We may not be doctors, I know, but we do have control over our own healing.
