Welcome to our Wildcat Family. Ms. Compton will be the new Asst Band Director. She will teach Symphonic Band as well as the Beginner Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, and Tuba classes. She has been teaching for 5 years and comes to Wildcat Nation by way of Frisco ISD.
Welcome to the Wildcat Family. Ms. Houston will be teaching 8th Grade English. She graduated with her Bachelor’s from Jarvis Christian University in December 2022 and began teaching English III at Duncanville High School. She is very excited to become a part of Wildcat Nation!
We are happy to introduce you all to a new member of our Wildcat Family. Ms. Godinez will be teaching Acceleration. She is in the MISD PACE program and comes to Wildcat Nation by way of Kimbrough Middle School where she worked as an ESL aide for two years with grades 6-8.
New Wildcat family alert. Mr. Garrett Dunaway will be the new Choir Director. This is his 5th year teaching He comes from Plano ISD where he was the Asst Choir Director. He became a teacher to spread the joy through musicianship and inspire students to pursue their passions.

“Walk Your Schedule” Nightwill be Aug. 3, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. This is designed for incoming 6th-graders and new 7th- and 8th-graders. Students will have the opportunity to see where their classrooms are located before the first day. We will host "Meet the Teacher Night" in Sept.
Welecome to the Wildcat Family. Coach Kelby Tucker will be teaching 7th S.S. He comes to WMS by way of the Pace Program. Before this he worked as an Automotive Tech and advisor. The reason Coach became a teacher is to be a person that helps grow the next generation of leaders.
We welcome Mr. Donnie Knight. "I am teaching LIFE and have been teaching for two years at Kipp Truth. I started teaching MS SPED then became an interventionist. I became a teacher because of my love for working with challenging populations to help them level the playing field."
Welcome to the WILD Family. Mrs. Carter will teach 8th Grade Social Studies. She is a first-year teacher that joins us from Poteet High School as a Librarian Assistant while training in the Pathways Advancing to Certified Educators (PACE/Cohort training).
