Thank you to WMU Student Nurses' Association for hosting a donation drive for personal care items for the on campus food pantry! They donated 50 pounds of personal care items such as shampoo, soap and toothpaste. The support is greatly appreciated!

“The time is always right to do what is right.” Martin Luther King Jr. The WMU on campus food pantry will be closed on Monday, January 16th in observation of Martin Luther Jr. Day. The pantry will reopen on Wednesday, January 18th at 11:00 am.
We are so thankful for the ongoing support of AFSCME Local 1668 Chapter. They donated 4,470 pounds of food to the pantry in 2022! This support helps to make the on campus food pantry possible, serving WMU students in need year round.
Happy first day of the Spring 2023 Semester! Welcome back students. These are the new spring semester hours for the WMU on campus food pantry. We re-open today at 11:00 am. Hoping that everyone had a restful break!
A huge shoutout to Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes for their amazing support of the on-campus food pantry! Loaves and Fishes donated and delivered 51,712 pounds of food over the Fall 2022 semester. We've seen a huge increase in need this semester, and this makes it possible.
Each student is eligible for one hold over bag of non-perishable food items during the break. The bags will be available for pickup at WMU Public Safety (511 Monroe Street) between 9am-5pm starting Saturday December 17th through Sunday January 8th (while supplies last).
A huge thanks to Sarkozy Bakery for their generous donation of 265 pounds of bread to offer at the pantry!

The WMU on-campus food pantry will be closed during Winter Break from Friday, December 16th through Sunday, January 8th. The pantry will re-open for the Spring Semester on Monday, January 9th at 11:00am.

As a reminder, the on-campus food pantry will have adjusted hours for Thanksgiving Break. The pantry will be open from 12:00pm-3:00pm this Wednesday, 11/23 and will be closed on Thursday, 11/24 and Friday, 11/25. The normal fall semester schedule will resume on Monday, 11/28.

The Invisible Need Project Food Pantry will be closed during WMU's Fall Break from October 19th-21st. We will reopen with the regular fall semester schedule on Monday, October 24th at 9am. We hope everyone has a wonderful break!
This upcoming Thursday, October 13th, the Invisible Need Project food pantry will be open from 12:00pm-2:00pm. Regular Fall Semester pantry hours will resume on Friday October 14th.

So far in 2022, WMU Office of Sustainability has donated 350 pounds of produce grown on campus! And they are still harvesting more! Fresh seasonal produce is a much-welcomed addition to our food pantry offerings.
