Congrats to our girls for a close 2nd at sectionals Every girl stepped up and we ran our best effort of the season. I’m incredibly proud of our team, 2 years in a row now we’ve been the runner up, nice to be in the mix. Melia and Kylie qualify for states in 2 weeks

Some team bonding at Chestnut Ridge to cap off a great week of training. Whatever happens the next month of championships this season has been fun and everyone has trained so hard! GET EXCITED CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON IS HERE!!
So many highlights so little time! Girls team takes 15th outta 134 full teams, Melia was 4th outta 1562 runners, Kylie 26th tons of prs! Crushed it! Starting to hate Twitter/x because I don’t have enough characters or picture to highlight everyone

Varsity taking this weekend off from racing, this gave us a good chance to get a hard race simulation pace workout in!!!! 6x800 @ goal 5k pace with 400 jog recovery! ABSOLUTELY CRUSHED IT! JV races at East Aurora tomorrow!
Boys didn’t field a full team yet but that didn’t stop those who came from running well! Bigs prs from Henry Knight, With a 18:21 which was a 23 sec pr and Luke Hensley running a 16 sec pr! Also strong efforts from Jack and Mike!
Good meet at Queensbury invitational! Team was 11th out of 21 teams in the large school morning session 23rd out of 92 teams that competed Melia was 4th in the large school morning race with a shiny new pr of 18:26 for the 5k! Kylie ran her 2nd fastest time ever!
CROSS COUNTRY SCHEDULE!!!!!!! Excited for what the season holds! Not everyone willCompete ever meet. Check with your coaches with any question on what meets you will be at!

Back to our favorite summer threshold loop! Good humid workout today! Come get some preseason cross country work in or get in shape for your primary sport! We had a soccer player, a cheerleader and even a runner from another school there today. Open practice all are welcome!
