Awesome to see the React dev tools icon flip from red to blue. We're getting close!
So why a landing page? 1. The primary app isn't ready for release yet. 2. It gives us an opportunity to shake down our analytics and production build/deploy process. 3. It allows us to reference wherewhycollege.com in pre-launch outreach without sending people to a big empty.
We just released the initial landing page to production. Other than a slight misconfiguration in the transfer of robots.txt into the build directory, everything went as expected.
And in related news, our first official update to our production PostgreSQL DB was equally uneventful.
First official microservice deployment into production went without a hitch. This one is an email lead processor providing support for...something TBA.
Sorry AWS (EC2 dev server), we've decided to go with AWS (Route 53) instead. Hope we can still be friends!
Completed WWC DNS move from development server to AWS Route 53. No issues. 🤘
