So cool that the 100th Falcon launch from @SpaceX took place on this particular day. Happy 22nd anniversary, @Space_Station!

On this day in space history, the crew of Endeavor on STS-88 joined Unity to the already-orbiting Zarya module in the first step in constructing the International Space Station. The crew entered the ISS for the first time two days later. #otdish en.wikipedia.org/wiki/STS-88

On this day in space history, Franco Malerba, the first Italian astronaut, was born. He served as a Payload Specialist on Atlantis for STS-46, a mission that deployed the European Retrievable Carrier (EURECA) for the ESA. Happy Birthday, Franco! #otdish en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franco_Ma…

I got to go inside the VAB when I was at a NASA social for the launch of Curiosity. An experience I'll never forget.

An early sunrise view of the iconic Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB). 🌅 The VAB served as the final assembly location of the Saturn V rocket and Space Shuttle. Soon @NASA_SLS will be assembled inside before heading to the launch pad for trips to the Moon: nasa.gov/artemis

Daaaaaang.

The primary mirror on @NASARoman is approximately 8️⃣ feet in diameter, similar to @NASAHubble’s — but its infrared field of view will be 200 times greater, letting it hunt for thousands of exoplanets and measure light from a billion galaxies. More: go.nasa.gov/3gIUZba
