Good luck with disarming the police! It only (partly) works in the UK because they lack American gun culture. Portland also has a strange view that crime itself isn't as big a deal as how it's reacted to. Squashing Portland's growing thug culture seems like effort better spent.

It's unlikely that he tried to kill ex armed robber George Floyd in plain view, or that he alone cause the death, but it was a very costly mistake. The mindless overreaction to this random incident has cause FAR more harm than the arrest itself, but thugs eschew context. #RIOTS
