God loves the Church. Imagine standing before Him one day, sounding out your justification for why you hated the Church your entire life while claiming to be a Christian: it was sinful, imperfect, disobedient, didn’t measure up to biblical standards… God loves Israel.
The entire Bible is for you. That does not mean the entire Bible is about you.

Deep blue candidates getting elected in deep blue parts of the country doesn’t strike me as irrefutable proof that all is lost.

Rev. 12: Satan hates Israel. Satan hates the Jews. Satan hates the children of Jacob. Satan hates Christ. God loves Israel. (Is. 49:14-16) God loves the Jews. (Deut. 10:12-15) God loves the children of Jacob. (Is. 43:1-4) God loves Christ. (Is. 42:1) Let the reader understand.
Apparently, it is the Holy Spirit that helps you to understand that God didn’t mean what He said the first time.
Dispensationalism is from "reading the Bible,:.....absent the Spirit. Bible reading absent the Spirit only brings condemnation.
You can be descended from Abraham but not from Jacob. (Rom. 4:11-12) You can be descended from Jacob but not from Abraham. (Rom. 9:6-7)
The irresistible urge to “translate” a straight-forward, plain sense, literal meaning:
Translation: No to young men with zeal. No to courage, unless the person is flawless. No to exercising discernment. No to criticizing Israel. No to paleo-conservatism. No to anti-idolatry. No to correcting any past failures. Yes to winsomeness and impotent Gnosticism.

But the Church does not.
Just so we’re clear: from this entire generation, a grand total of two men and their families entered the Promised Land. They were wicked and rebellious and God still called them His people, His chosen ones. God’s promises do not change based on the performance of His people.
