The most pertinent finding of @lengreview was the discrepancy between what PAs and Drs felt PAs were competent to do: Drs are trained to be cautious, careful, and reign in over-confidence. PAs do not demonstrate the same levels of caution, and one needs to ask why that is.

Physician associates will need 'individual' scopes of practice, says GMC chair
Exclusive: The GMC will not take into account other bodies' scopes of practice for physician associates (PAs) when regulation begins.
The @gmcuk consultation was tedious and technical. I suspect deliberately so to reduce responses. Dame Carrie mentions the responses not answering the questions posed. That’s because the GMC failed to ever ask the correct questions about their planned regulation of PAs.
