2 seasons on the spin, cup final here we come! Lads deserved it today, 110% effort from everyone. Put an absolute shift in against a strong Newton Heath side.
Last game of the year, 3 more points in the bag. 6-0 win vs Opportune FC. A victory fully deserved and needed after a terrible performance in our last meeting.
After battling back from 2-0 down to 2-2 vs Oxford, we ended up losing the game. A very late winner was scored by Oxford. Gutted for the lads, a defeat was not what we deserved. On to the next game where we hope after the last 2 performances we can get back to winning ways.
Close but no cigar, with a loss to Fc Glossop in the challenge cup. 3-0 down at half time, brought it back to 3-2, and with a late push for an equaliser, Glossop scored 2 late goals to put the game to bed. Happy with the overall performance from the lads, great side Glossop.
Another 3 points today VS Fitton Hill, finished 3-2. Credit to Fitton Hill, we got complacent after being 3-0 up at HT. They came out fighting in the second half and proved why they should not be bottom of the league.
6 points from the last 2 games, winning 7-0 and 4-2! Feels good to be back to winnings ways!
