Looks like a pattern change heading into next week as the storm track starts to favor more systems in our direction. I still think the middle of the month features more opportunities for snow and cold. #StayTuned

Just enough wintry weather to create a few problems early Sunday. Snow totals still look to be light and on either side of an inch for most of southern Wisconsin.

NEWY YEAR'S EVE SNOW: Keeping an eye on #TheNextBigThing which will be a clipper system on Sunday. These don't typically have a lot of moisture and move quickly and that's exactly what I expect to play out.

What a difference this holiday weekend from last year at this time. From record lows and highs not getting above zero last year to near record highs into the 50s this year. Just crazy!

Light rain has been around the area this afternoon. More spotty to the north while it's been pretty steady to the south. No big change as we head into the evening. Expect wet roadways in many locations.

Rain is back as we head through Friday. Lighter totals to the north up to a tenth of an inch while areas near the stateline could see a quarter of an inch with locally higher totals.

Winter is just minutes away at 9:27 PM! While it may be officially here, it won't be feeling like it much through the end of the year.

Looking hot and humid through the end of the week for the #CrossFitGames. Very small chance of a pop up shower or storm during the afternoon hours.
