As said earlier, the Cyclonic circulation over Bay of Bengal is now a Well Marked Low. It is moving to Odisha coast. Heavy rain expected in Odisha, Telengana, Vidarbha, parts of Chattisghar and West Bengal next two days. Light Monsoon showers expected in Tamilnadu and Kerala

Heavy rain in Odisha. The Cyclonic circulation lying off coast of Odisha may intensify into a Low in 24hrs. Heavy rain expected in Odisha, coastal Andhra,West Bengal and Jharkand tomorrow onwards. Cyclonic circulation off coast of Konkan can bring light rain in N.Kerala

Fresh Low pressure brewing in Bay of Bengal. A new cyclonic system started brewing off cost of Odisha.Takes 3to4 days to mature into a "Low Pressure". By 7th Aug it is expected move to the coast of Odisha and strengthens . Expected to track to West Bengal, Jharkand & Chhattisgarh

A Short Break for Monsoon. After giving good rain throughout India especially in Kerala ,Monsoon taking a short break as the Monsoon trough end reached Himalaya region. Dry wind will flow from Western direction that will reduce rain. But rain may pick lightly in late August .

Earthquake in Trivandrum. A Mild Earthquake of Magnitude 2.0 shook the South East parts of Trivandrum last night around 7.45 pm. Mild tremors felt in Venjaranmood and Kallara regions. Pullampara, Sasthamnada, Parappil,Mrthummala also felt shivering. No damage occurred .

Rain may subside. The Feeble trough that existed over Kerala started disappearing. Light to Moderate rain with isolated heavy rain in North Kerala is expected. An active weather system is persisting over Thiruchirapally and Chennai which can bring some good rain in Tamilnadu.

Rare Celestial event today. After 15 years,Mars comes very close to earth of 57.6 million km. If clouds permits,we can see the Red planet shining in the South West Sky today like an Apple. Mars is now in Opposition with Earth.Mars and Sun are exactly on either side of Earth

Strong Earth quake struck Japan. A Strong Earth quake of Magnitude 5.6 struck East coast of Honshu, Japan 30 minutes ago at 2.15 pm IST.Epicentre of the quake was 16 km from Hirono Fukushima,Prefecture, Japan.

Trivandrum rain breaking record of the Decade. Rain in Trivandrum crossing 91mm which is the highest of the decade. An Atmospheric Trough developed yesterday over interior Kerala is responsible for the heavy rain. The Trough is extended up to Madurai region.Rain continue 24 hrs

Swarms of Quakes in Indonesia.Strong earthquake of Magnitude 6.5 struck Lombok Island, Indonesia Sunday morning that killed 3 people and caused extensive damages. Around 50 aftershocks occurred in Lombok and Bali. The High Seismic activity started yesterday which is continuing

Heavy Rain in Jharkand and Bihar. The Cyclonic circulation persisting over East Bihar is expected to intensify to a Low pressure area in 24hrs. Heavy rain expected in Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur, Bokaro, Jamshedpur, and West Bengal next 48 hrs. Rain now in Bihar and Jharkand intensify

Earth quake again in Indonesia. A Second earth quake of Magnitude 5.0 struck Indonesia 30 minutes ago at 11.15 pm in the Tanimbar region . The quake was at a depth of 90 Km. Earlier at 10.40 pm, a Strong quake of Magnitude 6.1 struck in Flores sea, 184 km from Bau-Bau City.

Yamuna overflowing. Heavy rain in Utharakhand alarmingly raised water level in Yamuna and Alert in Delhi. Now the water level is higher than the danger level of 204.92.Yamuna is the tributary of Ganga flowing through Utharakhand,UP and Haryana. Condition is normal now but watch.

Cyclone Threat to Tokyo. Cyclone JONGDARI located 360km from Iwo ,Japan with a wind speed of 80kmh is moving to Tokyo. Wind speed may rise to 180kmh in 24hrs. Expected to land fall in Tokyo on 28th and cross to Japan sea and weaken .Watch Tokyo, Kyoto,Misawa,Sasebo,Seol, Iwakuni
