Game Night is tonight. Anybody have any bouncy balls? We could get a nice game of jacks going I think.
Come on out to Crafty Vibes tonight if you want to catch the elusive Solinox the Crafting Witch completely immersed in a pointless, repetitive activity involving tiny pieces of ancient dinosaur cadavers! Next week they may have moved on to another project...
They say it can't be done, but we say it can! Five labyrinths in a single day! Are you up to the challenge? Come join us this Saturday!
Blankets, sweaters, and hats, those are the go-to baby knits, right? The last sweater I made sounded like it was named after a body part. The Puerperium Cardigan is actually named after the postpartum period also sometimes called the "fourth trimester."
What is beauty? This question has occupied thinkers since the dawn of time, through religion, philosophy, and especially popular culture. Let's talk about how we relate to the concept of Beauty in paganism this Wednesday night.
A full moon with the Sun in Cancer is an excellent time for house cleansing, and what better way than with a besom? Large or small, it helps with sweeping out the old energy and bringing in the new.
If you had only 4 months to work and limited time on your hands, what would be your top priority craft project for your coming grandbaby? Next craft circle is this Thursday at 5 Eastern!
It's appropriate somehow to have Pride month in June, when we are also celebrating the summer solstice, a time of shining the brightest light of the year into all the corners of our lives. Whether we are out to the world or not, it's important to be honest with ourselves.
As we enter the season of fire, life can get unpredictable. Divination can help us stay ahead of the game. Come practice with us tomorrow night!
In the beginning, there was fire and ice. Do you want to know more?
I'm pretty sure there's a mistake in there somewhere from last night's discussion, but you know what? If you can't see it from 10 feet away on a galloping horse, it doesn't count! Come celebrate your imperfect creations with us tonight!
Next week, we'll be talking about the fairies, gnomes, salamanders, and undines: the elementals of the four quarters!
What comes out for Litha must be put away again! Come help us tidy up the church AND our property this Sunday.
Everything thing we do at Litha is aimed at ensuring a good harvest ... whatever that means for YOU! Come and bear witness as we celebrate growth and transformation and bless the harvest to come!
You don't have to be a professional psychic to benefit from learning a method of divination. Our next Divination Roundtable is this Friday.
Let every stitch be set with intention. Psst: Crafty Vibes is now hybrid!
We're talking about Litha tonight in our discussion group, along with the Rites of Passage that we celebrate in our Litha ritual. Come on out and join us!
Part of our plans for the Temple Project include an outdoor labyrinth that will host shrines. This month, we're taking a field trip to research different labyrinth styles in our area.
If the weather holds (and our spoon supply holds 😜), we have more work to do on the property than we do at the church. Some of these can be done anytime, though; just contact us first!
Litha brings our own Weavers Youth Rite of Passage, a chance for anyone to earn the respect of the community as full adult members. It is an acknowledgement of responsibility, an acceptance of the consequences of our actions.
