#HoundsOfTwitter Pals, I am so very excited. I’ve been given permission, by @ERPDF , to call myself ‘STPW Henry’ i.e. ‘Special Trainee Police Whippet Henry’. I’m going to be an under-cover police dog, or, in my case, an under THE covers police dog. What an honour. 🤗
Am delighted to celebrate Henry’s 11th b’day today, especially as he’s been rather poorly. Two weeks ago, while recovering from pneumonia, he had a ‘neurological episode’, which was awful to see. He’s recovered well, and is now his usual, very special, self. Gillian.
Pals - a brief health update. My allergic bronchitis has been worse than usual, & I’ve lost weight. X-rays have shown pneumonia in my right lung, so I’m on medication. I’m improving & eating well & had a run with pals yesterday, so doing ok. Mom is on full-time nursing duty. 💊🩻

Yesterday, pals, I decided to run round at full whippet warp speed, jumping over another dog in the process. Unfortunately for me the dog moved, I somersaulted, but seemed to walk away unscathed. However, I’ve hurt my neck and am on Metacam. Mom is on paracetamol.
