I have posted this before but .. 26 years ago, a gunman entered Dunblane Primary School in Scotland, killing 16 kids and a teacher. The UK govt responded by enacting tight gun control legislation. In the 9400+ days since, there have been a total of O school shootings in the UK.
They want guns in schools, and supermarkets, and movie theaters, and churches, and parks But you can't have a gun at CPAC or an NRA meeting or at a trump rally WHY IS THAT?
The media tells the public in advance about dirty Tottenham deal; criminal Thabo Bester; Babita Deokoran's network of haters; circumstantial evidence around Cloete Murray's death, etc. The state then follows. Imagine if there was no media.
This is an utter disgrace and a barefaced lie. To cut salaries with no warning is shocking. To say Independent Media is the only SA media house that has “not embarked on mass retrenchments” is a lie. They have had waves of retrenchments.
