A program aimed at improving Detroit neighborhoods has an immediate impact on residents. It started last year with the city aiming to turn overgrown alleys into real assets for residents.
We are seeking Detroit-based contractors to help perform the $30 million in repairs. There are opportunities available for prime contractors, sub-contractors, and joint ventures. Go to detroitmi.gov/citynews and select “contractor outreach” to receive updates for upcoming bids.
In Detroit, we want to help keep families in their homes. That is why we are making it a priority to help tenants at risk of eviction now that the federal moratorium on evictions has ended and cases are being processed again at 36th District Court.
