We finished our securitybox prototype! The box will take care of #windkit and continuously check the rotational speed of the rotor. If at high winds a certain threshold is reached the securitybox will short circuit the alternator and therefore slow down the rotor for safety!

Wind datalogger prototyping: For measuring wind speed and direction we use the wireless WS80 from Fine Offset Electronics. Finally we receive a signal and thanks to the folks of rtl_433 and @chzu we are able to decode the payload! #arduino #esp32 #windenergy #opensouce
