Excited to share @myccs virtual calming room with students! I added it in Canvas last Friday. A student found & used it over the weekend. Others clamored to ask when they were allowed to use it. Teachers, stay positive but remain perceptive. Many are struggling quietly.

We have to teach students to breath deeply and use strategies to calm....then release the strategies to them using a cycle of 3! If we aren’t deeply breathing our frontal lobes are not engaged!! ❤️🤟🏼@IndianaBranch
As teachers and parents, don't limit books choices to those students can read for themselves. Reading aloud is appropriate for all grade levels. Discussion is learning too. @natwexler @IndianaBranch
