Morning all. After a couple of days on the road to see a client and lovely trip to Bleinheim Palace, I stopped over with a friend last night (thanks for a lovely dinner). Been up since 5am doing a bit and now about to hit the road home ready for this afternoon’s calls.
Down in Oxford for a meeting so my lovely partner got tickets for the Bleinheim Palace light show. It’s an incredible display, truly beautiful. It blew our socks off.
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! Tree up yesterday and a nice dusting of snow outside. We’ve decided to not risk going swimming this morning and going to curl up on the sofa with an Xmas film or two. Few emails to send and then feet up. I might even finish by book!
Worked on a couple of upcoming vids until 7pm and then thought I’d treat my poorly back to a session in the gym. What’s the worst that could happen? Looking forward to that steam room and a bit of a rest. Until then, 30 mins of cycling and a couple of marketing podcasts it is!
Slept funny and my lower back is reminding me that it’s not happy. Time to swallow a couple of paracetamol, crack on like the old soldier that I am, and get my sorry hide into the steam room and sauna later. On the plus side - I get to hobble past the gym guilt-free!
Mid-morning coffee break. Need a caffeine fix as been hacking away since 6am. I’m still looking at my to do list and thinking it’s going to be tight! My MacBook is starting to feel like this…

Happy Friday one and all. Here at Helpful Words we're about to go to for our Friday team brunch. Alfie and H are joining me to catch ups on what's gone on. Busy week with multiple websites in production on the 3 Amigos side, and positive discussions around me joining projects.
Anyone else finding their screen getting closer and closer as the years roll by? My head will be against this soon!
It would be great to spend only 3 hours on our most important project - my estimates must be off! What do you think to this as an approach?
Had a great weekend family and friends, plus a bit of work. Is it me or does time speed up from 6pm on Friday until Monday morn? Another couple of sites to start for the 3 Amigos (mainly alfie tbf), and preparing for the helpful words website go live. Have a great week folks.
