Lincosamines :lincomycin{lincocin amp} & clindamycin{dalacin-c} adverse effect :Fata pseudomembranous colitis (C. difficile) ttt by Vancomycin.
Oral vancomycin is valuable in ttt of antibiotic-induced pseudomembranous colitis caused by C. difficile or S. aureus enterocolitis. Because vancomycin isn't absorbed after oral administration, it isn't useful for systemic infections.
ACE-I (captopril) cause Dry irritant cough due to increase BK & increase PGs.~ Treat by NASID
Both ketoconazol (Nizoral) & itraconazol(sporanox) need the presence of stomach acid for adequate absorption. Use e anticids, H2-blockers, or PPI is contraindicated.

Fish oil dosage : 1-Hypertriglyceridemia:1 to 4 g/day. in divided dodes 2-Hypertension :4 g/day in divided doses. **Xenical (orlistat) decreased fish oil absorption. Recommended to separate by 2 hrs. **fish oil C/I e antiplatelets, anticoagulants, thrombolytics =increase bleeding
Febuxostat(feburic) 1-dose 40mg/day, increase to 80 mg/day after 2 weeks if serum uric acid remains above 6mg/dl. 2-can increase liver function test, BLFTs should be taken upon initiation of therapy and repeated at 2 & 4 months
Albendazole(alzental, bendax) precautions :- 1-should be administered e fatty meal to achieve optimal absorption. 2-hepatotoxicity, liver function tests every 2 weeks. while taking albendazole. 4-rarely leukemia, thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis. CBC checked every 2 weeks

Ribavirin precautions : 1- common adverse effect hemolytic anemia (black box warning) 2-Teratogenic;contraindicated in pregnancy & also in male partners of pregnant women. 3-Should be avoided in patients e CrCl<50 ml/min. 4-never used as monotherapy in ttt of chronic hepatitis C.
Nizoral (ketoconazol) avoid to use in patients <12years old & pregnant woman.
