...and that's about it. Job done. Few days of recovery and the occasional codeine. @petegallacher mentioned my knee might feel like wet tissue for a little while. You can also add 'might sound like a wet fart.' (Don't turn on the sound if you're squeamish.)
Had spot of knee surgery yesterday, carried out by the excellent @petegallacher. For anyone else who might be getting similar surgery, I made this handy guide.
Crikey @HiltonHotels Bournemouth: I hope when you have to do an evacuation for a real fire that your staff are better prepared. You need to be faster, better organised and make sure you know which guests need assistance (I don't, but others do and didn't get it).
