Mystic is one of the dark morphs in the Bel complex. Someone asked me how to identify mystic. This is what I have learned about identifying mystics.
Hopefully this girl will breed for me at the end of the year. She’s my only visual clown female that’s almost up to size. Pastel Cinnamon Clown AKA Pewter clown. I love her face markings, she looks like she has eyelashes.
Ok, so I’m at a loss for words to describe how excited I am to be getting this pair from Totally_rad_pythons! Male Mojave Pinstripe Cryptic 66% het Ultramel and Female Crypton 66% het Ultramel. Cryptic and Clown are allelic. Clown x cryptic = Crypton
Currently one of the paintings I’m most excited about this season. Male ghost pied x female albino. All the babies will look like normal ball pythons because ghost (hypo), pied, and albino are all recessive, but all the babies will carry one copy of all 3 recessive traits.
This is one project I am excited about. First is a Super Sulfur male second is a Super Fire female. Sulfur & fire are allelic in the black eyed lucistic complex. Anything they are paired with separately will be sulfur or fire but together the entire clutch will be sulfur fire.
Pretty amazing how much this girl has grown and changed over 6 months. Egg cutting day was 6/13/22 and the second two were taken 1/11/23. She’s a killer enchi pin and her name is Hillary after another notorious female killer in a pinstripe suit. 😆
These 3 snakes are all very similar genetically. The first one Is a Pastel Lesser clown and is father of both of the other two. The second is his daughter who is a Lesser Blade clown, blade is a pattern reduction gene. Last is her half brother just a Lesser clown.
This is the second snake I added to my collection, and also this was the point we decided we wanted to breed. His name is Lt. Dan and he is expressing the visual recessive trait Clown and the co-dominant traits Pastel, Banana and Blade.
So I think I want to start posting some pictures of my collection now and discuss some of what I have learned since I started keeping and breeding Ball pythons and African Soft Fur rats. I guess the best place to start is with my first snake, the one that started the journey.
Wow this is what the president thinks is a pressing issue in our country? Not open borders, not out of control inflation, the price at the pump, rise in violent crime, rising costs of groceries, no the important issues is most definitely concert ticket fees. What a joke!

RIP Scott, I had such big plans for you. You did not deserve this. I'm so sorry you had to endure an agonizing death due to the negligence of fedex. I wish I would have gotten to meet you. I hope you find a safe warm place to curl up in with lot cheesy boys in the great beyond.
