Disappointed to see a dog with cropped ears win best in show. Cropping ears is cruel - there's no benefit to the dog and it's a procedure carried out purely for cosmetic/fashion reasons. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Does you pet have problem behaviour? If so it might have a medical problem. Veterinary behaviourists Prof Daniel Mills and Helen Zulch have just published a review of markers of medical issues in pets with problem behaviour. bvajournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.10… #pets

Totally agree! No need to use additives. Just clean the litterbox more often, please.

I see many products designed to cover litter box odor. Not only are these products unhealthy, they are very offensive to your cat's sensitive nose. Cats have 200 million scent receptors. The best odor control? Scoop the litter twice daily, and scrub the box as often as needed.

Really shocked by this opinion piece in @Vet_Record - culling by essentially cooking animals alive seems to be permitted in US farming. Any vets across the pond care to comment? Is this as common as Dr K suggests? What can we do to help stop it? @ucdavisvetmed #vettwitter #vetmed
