I was 14 y/o w/ a tibial stress fracture, left alone w/ no cervical spine exam after this fall. I competed in the Olympic floor final minutes later. @Simone_Biles 🤍 decision demonstrates that we have a say in our own health—“a say” I NEVER felt I had as an Olympian.

Sunday is a fun day to give back! Wrapped up our Shining on Literacy Community Service Project with Ashley White, First Grade Teacher at Compton Elementary School. Donated 20+ videos reading our favorite books along with $500 to assist with classroom supplies. #lovingothers
Our Florida Chapter adopted a classroom at Palm Terrace Elementary School for our Shining on Literacy program to provide children stories being read by our parents, mentors, Stars, & volunteers along with a donation for supplies for Miss Angel’s Classroom. #lovingothers
