The Thing in Chirstmas Town - Let's Read an Indie
When you're building up to major/massively emotional events in your book/series that you've been planning for years, it's a daunting feeling. Strange to think I'll be writing certain events soon.
Ah, I love writing a chapter that hits me in the feels. I only hope readers can feel the same way when they read it.
It's amazing how many of these book marketing scamming bots are all from Nigeria, while also being from the US, Scotland and Canada.
It's probably a shared experience for much of us, but I really enjoy/get in the zone when writing sections of great emtional importance for characters or of major plot developments. Ideally, make the make developments also of huge emotional importance to the characters.
I can highly recommend this series. A very good and interesting fantasy series with a brilliant setting.

We've got snow and hail in the highlands today, though not like this, just any excuse to make a new and goofy image of myself.
For you fantasy authors, it's always worth thinking about how magic/magical creatures interact with battles, especially sieges. If something like dragons are commonly used, it will affect how castles are built, or if magic can circumvent walls, others defences will be developed.
After having a (forced by medical conditions) break of 7 months from writing, it's been good to get back in to it, but it takes longer to get back into my old rhythm. Today was a good day when I really felt like I hit my stride. Good night all.
