I keep saying this on here, so I apologize if it seems repetitive, but there’s no reason why a small movie has to look and sound small. There are all kinds of things one can do to create a sense of scale & depth. Composition, lighting, sound design. Swagger and it will seem big.
I kind of like Damien Chazelle but the trailer has the vibe of a shut-in movie nerd who doesn’t fuck and isn’t funny making a comedy about debauchery
My fav thing about my cat is how sloppy and menacing he gets eating wet food. Meat slurry savagery, bits everywhere. You'd swear he'd taken down prey himself, only his face isn't smeared with blood 🙀
