My God. I think I'm going to have a heart attack. It took 35 years but I finally heard it. @GermanyNATO

Chancellor Merz: For far too long, we in Germany didn’t want to hear our Baltic neighbours’ warnings about Russia’s imperialist policies. We have recognised this mistake – and there is no going back from this realisation.

My appeal to @POTUS Donald Trump President of the United States of America to help Ukraine achieve a just and lasting peace

Palm Sunday attack also reveals that spiritually Christianity is numb in Russia. The church has been consumed by the state and used for an aggressive influence agenda. Institutionally Russian orthodoxy is a political cult, protecting it as a religious denomination is a hypocrisy

Indeed

We didn’t know then that it had all been agreed in advance in the secret Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. Today, we have no excuse for such naivety. It’s a safe bet that the Trump-Putin Pact already exists—and we should act accordingly.🧵14/14

I am utterly amused how the US follows Russia in its failure to understand the Ukrainian agency. Threatening a nation that was starved, murdered, even nuked is really an unwise way to go. Ukrainians may have limited resources, but the guts go beyond the Western measurement scale

America cut a key intel link for alerts at 2pm Kyiv. Before that: targeting data for HIMARS. Ukraine also isn’t receiving realtime information for long-range strikes. “Trump wanted a thank you,” says a source. “We will be writing it on graves of dead Ukrainians”

If Ukraine had 🇩🇪 & Europe’s unwavering support we wouldn’t be in this situation. Scholz wouldn’t even say Ukraine should win. Now,🇺🇦 must really get unwavering support to WIN- not empty words. Europe must be ready to defeat Russia - for Ukraine & for all of our deterrence.

Ukraine is not alone. Germany together with our European allies stands united alongside #Ukraine - and against the Russian aggression. Ukraine can build on unwavering support from Germany, Europe and beyond. Their defence of democracy & their quest for peace & security is ours.

I am a supervisory board member of the UA Public Broadcasting Service with multimillion audience. One can take any monitoring available or conduct one's own. The findings will show nothing but a balanced, unbiased reporting, including voices critical, even dismissive of Zelensky.

.@elonmusk is correct, unfortunately. Zelensky took control of all Ukrainian media, prosecutes churches, businesses and volunteers, covered up corruption for his friends, uses “puppet” prosecutors to unlawfully imprison and intimidate anyone who tells the truth about his…

And this is exactly why Ukraine is so important to the EU and the global West

China is gaining an advantage because the West lacks a strategy that, instead of seeking to defend the failing status quo, articulates instead a vision of the world that favors freedom, protects our interests and cultural heritage, and has ample hard military power to do it. 8/10

More Ukrainians died in WWII than Americans, Brits, and French combined. FYI @realDonaldTrump

Well, if "Crimea is gone" so is the reliability and continuity of the US administration policy. Remember the Crimean declaration under Trump-45? Trump-47's defining agenda may become dealing with the fallout of the greatest nuclear proliferation in history bbc.com/news/articles/…

Olaf Scholz wanted to avoid a bad scenario so much, he has landed Germany exactly into it

As Olaf Scholz meets NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Berlin today, he opposes a membership perspective for Ukraine. Now a counter proposal has popped up in my discussions with officials in Berlin: Ukraine should take a "neutral" status like Finland had for decades ... 1/

A bifurcation point in Georgia

In this thread you will see the documented fraud facts that occurred during the republic of Georgia’s 2024 elections. The elections were marked by systemic fraud, violence, intimidation, and bribery. These documents can be used for any international investigations. 🧵

Well, the masks are off. Last chance to make history, Joe

Because it is easy to internalize old privileges like not paying defence bills, taking advantage of cheap energy from one dictatorship and naїvely believing that cheap labor from another is only business. Now, when the privileges are expiring, it is time to protest

Navalnaya’s Decolonization Critique Proves That Russia’s Liberal Opposition Hasn’t Been Listening to Indigenous Voices themoscowtimes.com/2024/09/06/nav…

Looking at how China steadily becomes the beneficiary of the Russian war in Ukraine, I wonder how the anti-Putin Russians expect to regain independence for their country?

What a case of the US succeeding in alienating its friends! It has been a while since I've seen such unity in the comments. Many notable figures there

Russia attacked Ukrainian civilians today in Kharkiv with ballistic missiles and aerial glide bombs. Forty four people were injured, including seven children due to start school tomorrow. The U.S. condemns this and every attack on Ukraine by Russia.

Should the US and the West fail to support Ukraine, this should force any current or future Ukrainian administration and society to be more desperate and resolved in searching for ways to protect themselves. Under the circumstances, re-nuking may eventually become inevitable

I’m curious: should Ukraine use Western missiles to strike military targets deep in russia without permission - what would the West do? Condemn it for doing the right thing? Supply no more missiles & let it die? What? #LetUkraineStrikeBack #StandWithUkraine
