Somebody should nominate Gaetz and see how many votes he gets for speaker. He's walking around the House floor like the big man, working the members, demanding others to this or that. But he has not been offered as an alternative yet. Why is that?
At this point , it really should be McCarthy or nobody. If the GOP picks anyone other than KM — or more specifically anyone the NeverKevin folks approve of — then the extortion will have been rewarded and this will happen again and again and again.
