*He sits back, a grim look on his face. Well... He was fairly certain the cursed machine was connected... But he wasn't sure.*
*He glares at the "Blue-ray" player.* Nothing wrong with my old VCR, why did I have to get this again?
So, as he crouched on his living room floor, faced by a row of blinking lights and confusing wires, why was he ready to give up?
He had faced some of the greatest villains, and some of the greatest heroes, and he had never backed down.
Max Mercury, known as the Zen Master of Speed, had been many men in the last two centuries, some good, some not-so-good.
I did not realize the boy would be so excited about my arrival.
*He crosses the room, opening a box and beginning to unpack, at normal speed, enjoying the precision of movement, exercising him patience.*
*Sighing he pulls himself back to reality, standing up and brushing himself off.*
*He got lost on the tides of lightning, enjoying the ride, the communion.*
*He sits comfortably on the floor, eyes closed as he meditates. His mind travels out along the speed force, touching the others. Calming.*
