I know Sean does some goofy shit on fourth down, but I don't think even he intended to call a play where Stidham rolled out directly into an unblocked defender.

one last plot as I prep my YouTube video on this. wanted to see what the data showed regarding how injuries changed in players who played for SF and other teams (do injuries change when they leave/join SF). Answer is no, the data says players aren't any more or less injured on…

They also have LESS "catastrophic" (9+ games missed) injuries compared to the rest of the league since 2009. @Chase_Senior why is the narrative with this hypothesis that the team is an outlier with injury severity when the data just doesn't agree? Yes they are at the upper end…

They are NOT the most injured team in the league. This idea they are number 1 in injuries every year is just wrong. They are above average some years, below in others. 2020 was the worst year but in some of these metrics they are BELOW league average in recent years.

What do you mean there’s no evidence? They are consistently the most injured team. It’s something worth looking into it. Just like pro athletes look into their diet, sleep and training as variables in performance.

The final nail in the Arthur Smith coffin for me was when I saw our TE2 throw a pass to our TE3 while our TE1 pass blocked and our RB1 and WR1 jogged nothing routes in the opposite direction

Sources: #Steelers OC Arthur Smith is expected to become the next offensive coordinator at Ohio State.   Smith has received multiple requests for NFL HC and OC interviews this cycle. Smith has engineered multiple top 10 offenses in the NFL, and now he lands in college.

Remember when Dallas hired Mike McCarthy and then he admitted he lied about using his year off to modernize his offense lol

This generation of Rooneys and Maras have been coasting on their name recognition to tell themselves they're still premier franchises who do things the right way.

The most unserious franchise

If Mike McCarthy goes on a deep playoff run as Steelers head coach, I’ll gladly take the L here. But this was really an opportunity to start fresh. And this is a direction that makes it seem like they want to be above average rather than a chance at being great.

Hey does anyone else remember the last time people got sick of maniac cops killing people and the NBA players went on strike, and Obama called LeBron personally to break the strike
