The East Coast Digital Programme (ECDP) is a landmark scheme that will introduce in-cab digital signalling on the southern part of the East Coast Main Line.

We have produced a new animation explaining the benefits of digital signalling, ahead of more progress being made during engineering work this weekend. The clip has been produced with passenger operator partners to explain what's involved and why the @_ECDP work is needed.
