Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten and Beloved Son of God. He is our Creator. He is the Light of the World. He is our Savior from sin and death. This is the most important knowledge on earth, and you can know this for yourself, as I know it for myself.
As your testimony grows, you will come to feel light growing in your life. But it will not come without effort. Feasting on the word of God, heartfelt prayer, and obedience to the Lord’s commandments must be applied evenly and continually for your testimony to grow and prosper.
To each of you I say, foster your faith. Fix your focus with an eye single to the glory of God. “Be strong and of a good courage” (Joshua 1:6), and you will be given power and protection from on high.
I was reflecting on the word ponder today. Ponder means to weigh carefully and to study. I'm pondering about my personal need to care and love those around me.
Dear friends, the road ahead may be bumpy, but our destination is serene and secure. So, fasten your seatbelt, hang on through the bumps, and do what's right. Your reward will be eternal.
God will hear your prayers no matter where you are. If you need Him at home or at work, when you're alone or in public, He will hear you and He will answer you. See Alma 33:3–11: bit.ly/2ZTbuKz
Love the Lord with a firm foundation of faith. Let it be the base upon which you stand and from which you climb. That love will provide power for you to love your neighbors and to help them.
